Healthy mobility: ensuring transport contributes to improving public health

Posted on January 9, 2018

In November, first year PhD student Konstantin Klemmer represented WISC at the TRL Academy Symposium in London. This year’s theme addressed the connections between transportation and public health and included renowned academics and industry speakers. The experts specifically discussed the benefits of cycling and walking, alongside future policy developments in light of the Mayor of London’s Transport Strategy. Konstantin is studying urban mobility patterns and is currently looking into dynamic patterns and economic effects of bike-sharing.
