Training The Next Generation Of Urban Scientists

Warwick, through its newly founded Institute for the Science of Cities (WISC), provides CUSP with a European hub, access to European research leaders and funding, and a wealth of bright and cosmopolitan students.

Training

Funded through a £3.75M EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) grant, the Warwick Institute for the Science of Cities is providing Masters- and PhD-level training for the next generation of urban scientists. Three Masters-level courses exist: Communications and Information Engineering; Data Analytics; Urban Informatics and Analytics. When taken as part of the CDT, students have the opportunity to work alongside contemporaries from other CUSP partner universities (New York University, Carnegie Mellon University, IIT Mumbai and the University of Toronto) and will engage with industry and city collaborators from the UK and the US.
